Apparently, in an internet chat in 2001 Michael said that “Heal The
World” is the song he was most proud of and felt it was one of his
biggest achievements.
He wrote the song in his Giving Tree at the Neverland Ranch.
It is certainly a song written from the heart.

This is it. Heal the world. It’s up to us
In the documentary “Michael Jackson’s This is it” by Kenny Ortega,
MJ said “It’s up to us,” and went on to say that if we don’t take
action, it won’t get done.
What else did he say? “Love is eternal” and “I love you.” He
believed, like me, that love is the answer. Michael respected the
secrets and the magic of nature. He was very concerned about what
mankind is doing to our planet. As he put it, Mother Earth is weeping.
I put it to you that Mother Earth has tears in her heart.
It is such a shame that Michael passed on before the concert took
place. The concert rehearsals show that it would not only have been a
fantastic show, but also a great and beautiful message to the world. It
was a sharing of love, creativity, caring, healing and light. He wanted
us to heal our planet before it is too late. He was a prince of peace.
Michael said that it is up to us and if we don’t act now, it won’t
be done. That is what we are doing in UBIEE. We are pushing boundaries,
just as Michael Jackson did. He remains a great inspiration in my heart
for world peace and healing our Planet Earth.
This is it. We are the lights of the world. Michael’s message will
go on. His was a message of love, love for our fellow man and for our
planet, and love is eternal. Our message is one of love and light. I am
a member of the Elite 1 Team and we support the FUTURO-Plan. The Elite
1 Team members are action doers. Together, as one, we are ready to take
up any challenge to bring about our UBIEE vision. There is no limit as
we combine our efforts in spirit and teamwork, to bring about
environmental awareness and peace, and thus, healing for Mother Earth,
and for mankind.
Michael’s intention for the concert was to get across the message
that it is time to act for Mother Earth, to stop her weeping. It was a
message of unconditional love. Our participation in Melbourne is an
adventure of love too. Of course, it is on a smaller scale, but it is
the same adventure, an adventure that will end in world peace. We are
making history; we are healing our planet for our precious children and
their children. What an adventure!
